85-year-old Novi man found safely in Manistee

NOVI, Mich. — A happy ending unfolded today in the case of an elderly man who had been missing from Novi, Michigan. The 85-year-old, last seen headed south near M-57 and Northland Drive in Kent County, was found safe and sound miles away in Manistee!

Locals had been worrying after the man disappeared on August 5. He had left his home near 13 Mile and Meadowbrook roads around 9 a.m., driving off in his vehicle. Since then, his whereabouts had been unknown, leading to growing concerns amongst his friends, family, and the whole community.

Helping Hand from Michigan State Police

Thank goodness for the dedicated men and women of our fantastic Michigan State Police! Their hard work led to the safe discovery of the man in Manistee a day after he went missing. We need more of these heroes, don’t we? They confirmed he was not just safe, but also in good health, easing the fears of all who were concerned for him.

Arrangements for a Happy Homecoming

Even better, our missing man is already on his way home. Plans have been made to ensure his safe return to Novi, and we can’t wait to hear about their cheerful reunion!

We must respect privacy, so we have decided to exclude the man’s name and image from this coverage now that all turned out fine. Let’s celebrate the good news and show our respect for an elderly member of our great community!

Let’s Spread Good News!

Help us share the good news with your friends and family. After such stressful events, it’s always refreshing to hear a positive ending. Above all, let us use this as a reminder to always look out for each other, our elders, and our loved ones- because every person matters!
