It’s Time to Have Some Fun in Metro Detroit!

As the leaves start to change, Metro Detroit comes to life with fall festivities! Mark your calendar for a jam-packed weekend filled with crafts, music, food, and more! Here’s everything you need to know:

Plymouth Fall Festival

From Friday, Sept. 6th to Sunday, Sept. 8th, the vibrant streets of Downtown Plymouth will host a fantastic fall festival with free entry! Expect an array of attractions lined up: a craft show, thrilling carnival rides, a car show, and live music to boot.

Dally in the Alley

Head down to Cass Corridor in Detroit on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., for the iconic Dally in the Alley festival, celebrating its 45th year! This yearly gathering highlights the best in local art, food, and music. Witness a blissful blend of bands, innovative dog show, drag performance, and more – all for free!

Donut and Cider Fest

Canterbury Village in Lake Orion is hosting the Donut and Cider Fest on Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8. A perfect way to usher in the fall season with delicious donuts and fresh cider, along with a petting farm, lawn games, and bounce houses. A small entry fee of $4 cash or $5 card applies.

St. Linus Fall Festival

St. Linus Church in Dearborn Heights has announced its fall festival, running from Friday, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 8. Besides live music and fun-filled carnival rides, they’ve also got a beer tent. Do not miss it!

Dodge Park Food Truck Rally

Over 25 food trucks, a craft beer garden, a family fun area, vendors, and more will be taking over Dodge Park in Sterling Heights on Friday, Sept. 6 from 4-9 p.m. for a grand food truck rally that’s free to enter!

Trenton Art Festival

Starting Saturday, Sept. 7 through Sept. 14, Downtown Trenton will be the canvas to the town’s first-ever Art Fair. Murals, sculptures, an artistic scavenger hunt, artist vendors, and more, will be there to sweep you off your feet.

Wicked Bizarre

Those with a love for all things spooky should definitely make their way to the Wayne County Fairground in Belleville on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., where an event called Wicked Bizarre will be taking place. With over 150 vendors, raffles, and live entertainment. Things are bound to get spooky, and we don’t just mean the $5 fee for parking!

Rumble of the Bumble

And finally, step into Saturday, Sept. 7 from 2-10 p.m., with Depot Town in Ypsilanti’s Rumble of the Bumble. A street fair dedicated to supporting local artists, small businesses, and nonprofits. Expect music, entertainment, and yes, wrestling that’s free for everyone!

There’s something for everyone this fall season in and around the Metro Detroit area. So gather your loved ones, and partake in the festive spirit as you make memories that last a lifetime!
