Big Fun Coming to Wixom this Weekend!
Heads up folks! Pontiac Trail in the lovely city of Wixom is all set to transform into party central this Saturday with a super exciting Community Block Party to take place on the street. However, remember that this means the road will be closed for the day.
The good people looking after our roads have given a heads up that Pontiac Trail will be temporarily off-limits for normal traffic. This applies to the stretch between Wixom and Old Wixom roads. Fret not though, the closure will be just for the day and we should have our road back by late Saturday night!
Now, you might be wondering about alternate routes during this time. Well, there will be a detour in place. Vehicles can go via Wixom Road to Old Wixom Road, then get back onto Pontiac Trail – easy peasy! So, your weekend plans aren’t spoiled.
Our usual Pontiac Trail sees about 10,810 vehicles passing through daily. So, this change is meant to make the party safe and fun for everyone. Let’s spare the road for a day, shall we?
Curious for more details about what’s happening? Just take a quick look at the official webpage of the Wixom’s Block Party.
There we have it – party on, Wixom!
