Allie made this big announcement on National Signing Day, which took place on Wednesday, February 5. A Star on the Rise
Allie’s track record speaks volumes! In 2022, she played a pivotal role in leading her high school cross country team to their first-ever state championship. Not only did they claim the title, but she also clinched an impressive third place overall in the state championship race with a time of 19 minutes, 20.80 seconds.
But that’s not all—Nowak is also the reigning individual state champion in the 800-meter run. She set a remarkable new Division 4 record with a time of 2 minutes, 13.51 seconds. In addition to her impressive individual victories, she holds multiple school records that would leave any athlete in awe:
- 800 meters: 2:13.51
- 400 meters: 1:00.64
- 1600 meters: 5:05.35
- Pole vault: 8 feet, 9 inches

The Recruitment Journey
During the recruitment process, Allie had conversations with various schools but made the decision to visit only Michigan State and the University of Michigan. Nowak’s choice to join the Michigan State women’s cross country team – which finished sixth at the Big Ten Championships on November 1, 2024 – puts her in good company.
