Setting up this elaborate display takes an incredible amount of work. “Every single light you see, we had to push in one at a time,” Kyle explained, showing off his blistered thumbs. According to Kyle, the impact of their decorations extends beyond their own home. “When we started, no other house on the street had any decorations. The Bosticks are gearing up to take their spectacular display on the road this upcoming Christmas season. “We’re going to have 250,000 lights for our Christmas show, covering three-quarters of a mile,” Kyle announced excitedly. “This one’s going to be metro Detroit’s only synchronized light show. It’s going to be insane!”
