Two Michigan Buca di Beppo Locations Bid Farewell
Livonia and Utica, Michigan – Fans of family-style Italian cuisine will be disappointed to hear that Buca di Beppo locations here are no longer in business. As per Google listings, the restaurants in both cities are now permanently closed. For those who are looking for dishes like spaghetti with meatballs or lasagna on their website, you won’t see any restaurants listed in Michigan.
The Livonia location at 38888 6 Mile Road between Interstate 275 and Haggerty Road has shut its doors last week after being in operation for around 25 years. “After being part of this community for 25 years, sadly, Buca di Beppo in Livonia has shut down. We express our gratitude to our customers for their perpetual support — It was our honor to be the venue for many gatherings and celebrations over the past two decades”, The company mentioned in a statement.
Further east, Utica’s Buca di Beppo on Hall Road appears to have closed sometime in June. A pre-recorded message at the location confirmed the permanent closure of the restaurant. Utica’s city clerk, confirmed that a city inspector had confirmed the closure on June 19 after a visit to the restaurant. The restaurant was given 30 days to remove its signage according to the city’s sign ordinance. However, as of July 24, the sign still remains.
For those who were unaware, Buca di Beppo is part of the portfolio of restaurant brands managed by the Florida-based company, Earl Enterprises. Some of the other familiar names included with Buca di Beppo are Chicken Guy, Bravo Italian Kitchen, and Planet Hollywood.
