Novi, Michigan – Learning Care Group (LCG), the second-largest early education and child care provider in North America, is enhancing its support for military families as it approaches Memorial Day. The organization is demonstrating its appreciation for service members by offering an exclusive 10% discount on its child care services.
As part of its ongoing commitment to assist military families, LCG participates in various subsidy programs aimed at making child care more accessible. These programs include Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood and Child Care Development Block Grants, which help support the unique challenges faced by these families.
LCG has recently expanded its Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood – PLUS (MCCYN) program, which now operates in 18 states. This initiative is specifically designed to address the child care gap experienced by military families, ensuring they have access to quality child care options even during deployments and relocations.
In addition to financial assistance, LCG has also launched the SproutAbout app, a secure live video platform that allows parents to monitor their children’s daily activities while they are apart. This innovative tool has received positive feedback from military parents, such as Ensign Ryan Imm, who highlight its importance in maintaining connection and ensuring safety during deployments.
John Bork, the President and COO of LCG, stated that the organization’s primary goal is to ease child care concerns for military families. This is part of a broader mission to transform the child care industry through high-quality care that exceeds partner expectations.
LCG operates over 1,150 schools across 40 states under various brands, including La Petite Academy, Childtime Learning Centers, and Montessori Unlimited. The organization has a track record of supporting families for more than 50 years, providing a comprehensive and research-based curriculum in a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
