In the frigid air of last year, supporters of the CNOY Walk came together to collect an impressive sum of over $15,000. The funds generated from this charity event go directly to the YWCA’s Transitions Supportive Housing Program. This initiative provides much-needed housing and case management support for single women as well as women with children who find themselves either homeless or at risk of being homeless.

The YWCA’s program is designed to offer stable housing for up to two years, coupled with supportive case management services. This framework truly helps women to stabilize their lives, develop essential skills, and work towards long-term housing goals. It’s not just about finding shelter; it’s about building a future.

This expansion means that by June, space will be available for six more women and potentially up to four additional children.
