Originally built by the legendary Henry Ford in 1931, the Dearborn Inn was designed by the esteemed architect Albert Kahn. It holds a unique place in aviation and hospitality history, conveniently located across from the now-closed Ford Airport, which served the area from 1924 until 1947. The inn first opened its doors to world leaders and notable figures, making it a symbol of prestige within the community and the broader history of transportation.
