His skills in capturing these important events quickly impressed the team. Josh Buscher, a senior video production specialist, noted, “We found out that he is very technically proficient.” And while Jason works independently, the staff is always on hand to assist him with any technical hiccups, like microphone issues.
A Fresh Perspective for the City’s Stories
Since he began, Jason has produced delightful videos centered around themes like the city’s butterfly garden, recycling initiatives, and the arrival of a new firetruck. What’s remarkable is his approach: he not only captures the essence of the stories he films but also writes a script with the help of an AI app, plans his shots, and edits it all together. It takes him about two days to transform an idea into a polished two-minute video.

As his journey continues, both Jason and the team at the community relations department are excited about future projects.
