Keep your calendars ready folks! Oakland County is brimming with fun and exciting events for the upcoming days. From business events to charitable activities and from community events to festivals, there’s something for everyone here. So let’s dive into what’s coming up from Aug. 18 and beyond.

Business Events

Starting with Bluewater Technologies Tech Expo, this exciting event is set to happen on Aug. 21-22. It aims to showcase the latest AV innovations and is completely free for industry professionals. Closely following this, the Oakland County Business-2-Business Roundtable Networking Membership is organizing an informative event centered around the future impact of AI on business, workforce, and ethics.

Charitable Activities and Fundraisers

Calling all parents! Priority Health, in partnership with Metropolitan Detroit Diaper Bank, is giving away diapers for free throughout August. Also, the highly anticipated Walk a Mile in My Shoes Rally is on its way, aiming to increase support for public behavioral healthcare and stress the need for increased funding for mental health services.

Community Events

A whole bunch of family-friendly events are on the horizon. Starting with the Health & Housing Summer Fest on Aug. 19 and Food Truck Wednesdays happening throughout August, you are sure not to run out of fun experiences.
