She was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth Hausauer and is remembered as a loving mother to Kurt Hausauer and Kent Hausauer. Her family also includes grandchildren Amanda Pickering, Chelsea Hausauer, Jamie Kish, and Katrina Hausauer, alongside five great-grandchildren: Darla, Everett, Holden, Massimo, and Lorenzo.

Hausauer was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lamphere, Bernadine Brunner, and Lois Eagleton. Her extensive involvement in her community and church has left an enduring impact, particularly at the Commerce United Methodist Church, where she was a longstanding member. She actively participated in the Women’s Society of Christian Services, contributing her time and skills to various church initiatives.

Alongside her community involvement, Hausauer had a deep passion for nature and gardening. She enjoyed exploring the world and this love for travel led her to engage in volunteer work with the Navajo Indian Tribe during her trips to Arizona. As an enthusiast of genealogy, she devoted time to tracing her ancestry, sharing interesting stories of her heritage with family and friends.

The family plans to honor her memory with a visitation on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home located in White Lake, Michigan. Friends are welcome to gather to pay their respects and celebrate her life. A funeral service is set to take place the following day, on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Commerce United Methodist Church in Commerce Township. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:00 AM.

Pauline Hausauer will be laid to rest at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan, where family and friends will gather one last time to bid farewell to a woman who dedicated her life to family and community. Those who knew her will remember her for her generosity, kindness, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Pauline Hausauer’s remarkable life stands as a testament to the values of love, service, and community support. Her legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who admired and learned from her in both personal and communal spheres.
