Pontiac Welcomes Southfield Senior Summit
In the heartland of Pontiac, Michigan, a remarkable event dedicated to the senior community is all set to take place. The Southfield Senior Summit will kick off on September 9th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. This much-anticipated gathering, organized by Sen. Jeremy Moss, will be hosted at the Southfield Pavilion.
This summit serves as an inclusive platform, bringing together over 30 organizations extending their community services to the attendees. The event invites everyone from the community, including the local press, to witness this grandeur.
The attendees will have access to various essential services. The Wayne Health Mobile Unit will be present to provide health screenings, COVID-19 PCR testing, vaccinations, and linkage to care and community services. Essential Narcan training will be offered by the Healing Heart Safety Services. In addition, flu shots will be administered by the Oakland County Health Department.
A panel of distinguished speakers from diverse public offices and organizations will grace the occasion. Speaking from the heart of the event, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel will also be a guest speaker.
