Road Rage Shooting Results in Freeway Closure in Livonia

Motorists traveling eastbound on I-96 in Livonia came to an unwelcome halt last night when a portion of the freeway was closed due to a case of road rage that escalated into a shooting incident.

The incident reportedly took place near Middle Belt Road. As a result of the investigation, drivers were redirected onto eastbound Schoolcraft at the Middle Belt exit, where they were able to rejoin the freeway at Inkster.

According to reports, two shots were fired on the freeway. Fortunately, it appears that nobody was injured in the incident. The situation resulted in a brief freeway closure that lasted until 10:15 PM, at which point normal traffic flow was resumed. The authorities have yet to release further details.

Remember, folks, while road rage might be common, it is never the solution to any situation. It’s dangerous and serves only to cause distress and harm to all parties involved.

Stay safe on the roads, and remember to keep your cool. We’ll continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
