Forecasts indicate that winds in the warned areas may reach speeds of up to 60 miles per hour, with the potential for pea-size hail. Additionally, northern Oakland and Macomb counties, including cities such as Auburn Hills, Rochester Hills, Romeo, and New Haven, are expected to experience winds of around 55 mph, though no hail is forecasted for these areas. Meanwhile, eastern Monroe County is anticipated to see winds up to 50 mph and the possibility of pea-size hail, impacting locations such as Monroe, Carleton, Temperance, and Estral Beach by 1:30 p.m.

Previously, severe thunderstorms were expected to move through Wixom, Novi, and Farmington Hills in Oakland County, along with Adrian and Tecumseh in Lenawee County earlier in the afternoon.

A small craft advisory has also been issued for recreational boats on Lake Huron’s Saginaw Bay, valid from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday.
