Among the featured guests was Bryce Dallas Howard, acclaimed for directing three episodes of “The Mandalorian” and one episode of “The Book of Boba Fett.” In addition to her directorial work, Howard is also known for her prominent acting roles in films such as “Jurassic World” and “Spider-Man 3.”

Fans were able to meet Sam Witwer, best known for voicing the beloved character Darth Maul in multiple “Star Wars” projects, including “The Clone Wars,” “Rebels,” and “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” Witwer has also made appearances in popular television series such as “Being Human,” “Dexter,” and “Smallville.”

Temuera Morrison, who portrayed both Jango Fett and Boba Fett in “Star Wars,” added to the star-studded lineup and is recognized for his roles in “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett.” Another significant guest was Denis Lawson, celebrated for his role as Wedge Antilles in the original “Star Wars” trilogy, connecting the convention with the franchise’s rich history.

Actor Seth Gabel also made an appearance, known for his role as a bartender droid in “The Mandalorian.” Gabel has been featured in several popular shows, including “Big Sky,” “The Watcher,” “Fringe,” and “Salem.”

Among the new faces in the “Star Wars” universe, Carrie-Anne Moss portrayed Jedi Master Indara in the upcoming 2024 series “The Acolyte.” Moss is widely recognized for her iconic role as Trinity in “The Matrix” franchise.

Ahmed Best was another highlight of the event, known for providing the voice and motion capture for Jar Jar Binks. Best has participated in various panel discussions and remains an integral part of the “Star Wars” legacy through his work on video games and animated series, as well as specials like “Robot Chicken.” His availability at the convention spanned both Saturday and Sunday.

Chris Bartlett, who has portrayed multiple characters in “The Mandalorian,” “The Book of Boba Fett,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” and “Ahsoka,” also attended the con, showcasing his versatility not only as an actor but also as a droid builder for various “Star Wars” shows.

The gathering of “Star Wars” celebrities was part of a broader event that also welcomed other notable guests, including Martin Sheen, Jeremy Renner, Famke Janssen, Sean Astin, Christina Ricci, Bradley Whitford, Anson Mount, and many more.

The Motor City Comic Con provided a platform for fans to engage with their favorite stars from the “Star Wars” universe, deepening their appreciation for the series and its diverse characters amid an exciting schedule of panels and activities.
