NOVI, Mich. — Voters from the City of Novi, Novi Township and the City of Northville can start casting ballots in person Saturday at the Novi Civic Center, 45175 W. 10 Mile Road.
The shared site opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 4:30 p.m. each day through Sunday, Nov. 1. The one exception is Thursday, Oct. 29, when it opens at noon and stays open until 8 p.m. for evening voters.
Northville Township residents vote early at their own location, Township Hall at 44405 Six Mile Road, with doors open daily over the same stretch, starting at 8 a.m. and closing at 4 p.m..
Michigan voters approved early in-person voting in a 2022 constitutional amendment, and this year the window covers nine days. Ballots cast early go into tabulators, but no totals come out until polls close at 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.
Absentee ballots must reach the voter own clerk by 8 p.m. on Election Day, and a postmark alone does not count. City of Novi residents have an extra drop box outside the 10 Mile Road firehouse known as Fire Station No. 4, and they may also carry an absentee ballot to the early voting site and feed it into a tabulator.
