NOVI, Mich. — Oxford rolls into Detroit Catholic Central on Friday for an MHSAA Division 1 district final, with the Shamrocks hosting the Wildcats on their Novi campus.
Catholic Central enters at 9-1 after overwhelming Lake Orion 43-6 in the opening round. Oxford arrives at 8-2 after a 42-28 win over Davison that set up the rematch-free district title game.
The game is listed among Friday night district championships across the 11-player bracket, with most kickoffs set for that evening unless a school posts a different time.
Detroit Catholic Central High School sits at 27225 Wixom Rd in Novi, and the Shamrocks are among the states most prominent Catholic high school football programs with multiple state titles on the resume.
The winner advances deeper into the Division 1 bracket toward regional play the following weekend.
