Novi, Michigan’s Detroit Catholic Central stayed near the top of the statewide prep football rankings after Week 6 of the MHSAA season, with two independent polls keeping the Shamrocks among the teams to beat.
The Super 25 after Week 6 lists Novi Detroit Catholic Central at No. 2 among Division 1 teams with a 6-0 record, the same spot as last week, just behind Detroit Cass Tech. Saline and East Kentwood round out the top four Division 1 clubs at 6-0 in that same poll.
A separate Metro Detroit zone ranking for Week 7 puts Detroit Catholic Central first in the North at 6-0 after beating Toledo Central Catholic, 31-12. Howell, Clarkston, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, and Birmingham Brother Rice follow in that North group, all still chasing the Shamrocks.
