The events will take place from Thursday, September 18, through Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Jenison Field House.

Celebrating Milestones in Spartan Volleyball

The 2025 Alumni Weekend will honor the 50-year anniversary of the 1975 AIAW Final Four team, the first postseason squad in the program’s history, as well as the 30-year anniversary of the 1995 team, which remains the only MSU volleyball team to advance to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament. Jenison Field House: A Historical Venue

Known for its rich volleyball tradition, Jenison Field House has been a central venue for the Spartans, hosting the majority of their home matches from 1993 until the team transitioned to the Breslin Center following the 2021 season. During that period, Michigan State consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally for average attendance from 2015 to 2021, creating an electric atmosphere for home matches. A program attendance record of 6,838 fans was set during a match against Michigan in 2016, showcasing the community’s passion for Spartan volleyball.

Following that, on Friday, September 19, the team will compete against Bowling Green, and the final match will take place on Saturday, September 20, as the Spartans take on Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). Specific match times and a comprehensive tournament schedule will be released closer to the event date.
