Dearborn Heights Scours for Package Thief

Dearborn Heights — Local authorities are on the hunt for a perpetrator who has been brazenly stealing packages right off folks’ porches in the neighborhood around Midway and Mayburn. Striking in broad daylight, this guy hasn’t been shy about his shenanigans.

The suspect is believed to be a male who looks like your every-day joe. If you spot someone suspicious lurking around your property, or if you happen to catch sight of a guy making off with a big package – you might have found our dude.

The Theft in Question

Caught on camera, the suspect reportedly lifted packages estimated to be worth a fair bit – more than $260, according to reports. After his sticky-fingered spree, he was seen making a quick getaway in what appeared to be a dark-colored sedan.

Imagine, working your tail off all day, expecting that much-awaited package to be sitting at your doorstep, only to find an empty porch. Bummer!

Help the Cops, Help Yourself

Local authorities are working tirelessly to nab this porch pirate, but they could use your help. If you’ve got any information – anything that can lead to the identification or whereabouts of this guy – you’re strongly urged to give the police a call.

Your help won’t just bring this rascal to justice – it’ll mean peace of mind for your neighbors and a safer community for everyone.

Please, do the right thing. If you have any information about this case, don’t hesitate to make that call. The Dearborn Heights Police Department can be reached at 313-277-7487.

Stay vigilant, Dearborn Heights, and remember – we’re all in this together.
